Concept 2

Concept2 makes the RowErg rowing machine, the SkiErg and the BikeErg, and we stock all three new in Boise: the RowErg with standard or tall legs, the SkiErg with floor stand, and the BikeErg, all in stock as of September 2026. Call or visit for pricing. All three use an air-resistance flywheel with an adjustable damper and the PM5 Performance Monitor, which runs on two D-cell batteries, so none of them needs an outlet. See them at our Boise showroom, 1852 S Century Way; call 208-345-2226 first to check which are set up. Compare with Bodycraft rowers in rowers.

What is a Concept2 rower?

The RowErg: an air-resistance rowing machine with an adjustable damper and the PM5 monitor, used in CrossFit competition and most commercial gyms; the PM5 is calibrated so times and watts compare between machines.

Which Concept2 machines do you stock in Boise?

RowErg, standard legsFull-body seated rowing stroke96 x 24 in; seat 14 in; 57 lb; users to 500 lb
RowErg, tall legsSame stroke, easier on and offSeat 20 in; nickel-plated chain

BikeErgAir-resistance cycling with a clutchAbout 68 lb; damper works like gearing; Bluetooth

What are the Concept2 RowErg dimensions?

96 by 24 inches assembled; Concept2 recommends a 9 by 4 foot space to row. It separates into two pieces without tools and stores in 25 by 33 by 54 inches with standard legs (27 by 47 by 54 with tall legs), per the listings; seat height is 14 inches with standard legs, 20 with tall.

What is the difference between the RowErg, BikeErg and SkiErg?

Rowers pick the RowErg, cyclists the BikeErg, skiers the SkiErg: the RowErg works legs, core and arms through a seated stroke, the SkiErg through a standing overhead pull, the BikeErg through pedaling with a freewheel clutch.

How do I get Concept2 pricing?

Call 208-345-2226 or visit the showroom; we do not publish Concept2 prices online. All three are in stock for pickup in Boise or local delivery in the Treasure Valley.

From our technicians: oil the chain on Concept2's schedule, wipe the monorail and replace the PM5's D cells when it asks; most wear parts are user-replaceable, per Concept2's listing.

Questions we get about Concept2

Should I get the RowErg with standard or tall legs?

Tall legs raise the seat from 14 to 20 inches, easier on and off for taller users and anyone who prefers a higher seat; standard legs keep the machine a few pounds lighter (57 pounds). Call first to check which are set up, then sit on both.

Does a Concept2 need to be plugged in?

No. The PM5 monitor runs on two D-cell batteries and the flywheel is air-driven, so the RowErg, SkiErg and BikeErg can go in a garage or spare room with no outlet nearby.

What is the Concept2 RowErg weight capacity?

500 pounds in Concept2's own testing, and 300 pounds under the European EN 20957-7 standard, which uses a different test method; the tall-legs and standard-legs versions carry the same rating.

Can I pick up a Concept2 in Boise the same day?

Usually. All three machines were in stock as of September 2026 at 1852 S Century Way. Call first: some are boxed, some assembled, and stock can change the same day.
