About the Concept2 SkiErg Machine w/ Floor Stand
This is the Concept2 SkiErg on its standard floor stand, so it stands on its own and needs no wall mounting. You pull two handles down from overhead, standing, in a motion taken from cross-country skiing. Pick it if you want a Concept2 machine with the smallest footprint, or one you can roll between rooms. It uses the same air flywheel and PM5 monitor as the RowErg and BikeErg.
Room and ceiling
On the floor stand it is 23.5 inches wide, 50 inches deep and 85 inches tall, a little over 7 feet. Check your ceiling height and any low beams, garage door tracks or lights before you choose a spot. The floor stand has caster wheels, so you can tip it and roll it out of the way.
Monitor and power
The PM5 runs on two D cell batteries and draws power from the spinning flywheel during a workout, so no outlet is needed. It connects by Bluetooth to Concept2's free ErgData app. There is no subscription, and Concept2's online logbook is free. A phone cradle and handle hooks come in the box.
