About the Concept2 RowErg with Standard Legs
This is the RowErg with standard legs, which puts the seat 14 inches off the floor. Choose it if you are comfortable getting down to a low seat and want the lighter machine at 57 lb. If getting up from a low seat is hard, the tall-legs version raises the seat to 20 inches and weighs 68 lb. The rowing stroke, monitor and flywheel are the same on both.
Room and storage
Assembled, it is 8 feet long and 2 feet wide. Concept2 recommends a 9 by 4 foot space so you can get on and off easily. It splits into two pieces without tools and rolls on caster wheels. Stored upright, it takes 25 by 33 inches of floor and stands 54 inches tall.
Monitor and power
The PM5 monitor runs on two D cell batteries and draws power from the spinning flywheel while you row, so you never need an outlet. It connects by Bluetooth. There is no subscription: the monitor works on its own, and Concept2's online logbook is free.
