Boise State opened a new Student Recreation Center in August of 2002. Gym Outfitters was there right from the beginning – actually since before the beginning! Boise State Recreation has used Gym Outfitters for equipment sales and service for over 15 years. With exceptional sales and service Gym Outfitters continues to be part of our facility. We are continually impressed with their staff and rely on their sound advice. One area that is of utmost importance to us is the service of our equipment.  We know that members do not want to have their favorite piece of equipment “out of order” due to lack of preventative maintenance or repair. We never have to worry about our equipment being “down” due to parts not being available or staff not having the skill or knowledge to repair the equipment. We’ve always been impressed with the Gym Outfitters service staff in this respect. They are professional and personable, and get the job done quickly. We’ve also relied on Gym Outfitters for a good portion of our purchasing. Their sales staff often brings equipment representatives to visit our facility and keep us informed on new pieces or changes to existing equipment. We look to Gym Outfitters to educate us on the newest equipment trends and what will provide us with the greatest value. With an annual rotation of our equipment, Gym Outfitters gives us exceptional pricing on our new equipment and fair trade in value on the piece that will be retired. Over the past 8 years we have partnered with Gym Outfitters for preventative maintenance work, repair work, commercial equipment purchases as well as floor design and miscellaneous other equipment purchases. In ALL areas  Gym Outfitters has proven to more than exceed expectations. Preventative maintenance is a necessary evil and Gym Outfitters does their best to work within a tight budget but more importantly will recommend what must be done vs. what is recommended to be done.  This way we can make an educated decision on how we want to spend our dollars. It has always been our objective to have a 24 hour turn around on “downed” equipment. We would not be able to accomplish this without Gym Outfitters support. Dan and his team are experts in diagnosing equipment failures and can have the equipment repaired in most cases within the 24 hour timeline.One of the strengths of Gym Outfitters is their ability to handle a purchase as small as an exercise mat to an equipment purchase in excess of $500,000. In all purchases we feel as though we are receiving a fair and very competitive price. It is important to note that we also receive more than just the equipment we also receive all the necessary support that comes with it including floor design, the entire install, and any necessary education.
